Turku, located in southwestern Finland, is a city rich in history and culture. Founded in the 13th century, it was the capital of Finland for hundreds of years and played a significant role in the country's development. Today, Turku is a vibrant and diverse city that offers its residents and visitors many kinds of things to do!

One of the most well-known things about Turku is its location on the Aura River, which winds its way through the city and provides a picturesque setting for many of the city's landmarks. Visitors can take a boat tour of the river to get a unique perspective of the city, or simply stroll along the riverbanks and enjoy the view.

Turku is also home to a wealth of historical and cultural sites, including the Turku Castle, which dates back to the 13th century, and the Turku Cathedral, which is the oldest cathedral in Finland. The city also has a vibrant arts scene, with numerous galleries and museums showcasing the works of local and international artists. Turku is also known for its nice set of cafes and restaurants.

Living in Turku is a wonderful experience. The city is small enough to feel friendly and intimate, yet offers all the amenities and opportunities of a larger city. The people of Turku are warm and welcoming, and the city has a strong sense of community.

One of the most popular tourist attractions near Turku is Moomin Land, a theme park based on the beloved Moomin characters created by Tove Jansson. The park is located just a short drive from Turku and offers a magical experience for visitors of all ages. There are plenty of rides and attractions based on the Moomin stories, as well as a variety of shops and restaurants.
