Student Communication

Responsibilities

Currently we are only looking for people who can work on weekends and holidays or in the evening, based on the Japanese timezone. You will support users from all over the world, residing in more than 130 countries, who want to learn all kinds of things.

・Creating invoices, receipts, course reports, etc. (using Google Docs)
・Responding to inquiries by phone, chat system, and email (in Japanese, English, or other languages)

Requirements

Ability to use Japanese and English at a business level or above.
Ability to speak at least one language other than your native language.
High communication skills and a curious mind.
You like and are interested in Cafetalk.
You have work experience.
Ability to take responsibility and work goal oriented; good problem-solving skills.
Cooperativity and ability to understand and respect different cultures and diversity.
You have a functional computer set up.

Preferred

Experience in user support.
Experience in customer service.
Experience in working from home.
Ability to work during major holidays (May) and year-end and New Year holidays (any dates between December 30 and January 3)
Knowledge in one of the categories of music, yoga, academic tutoring or other on Cafetalk.
Ability to speak Chinese or Korean at a business level.
You are a Cafetalk user.

Employment Status

Part-time (long-term availability preferred)
Contract employee
*There is the possibility to become a full-time employee (with a 3-month trial period).

Work Location

Shibuya Office, Tokyo, Japan

Hours

Preference will be given to those who can work either of the following hours:
1) Weekdays from 11:00 to 20:00 Japan time (contract employment)
2) Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, Japan time (part-time employment)
*If you are hired as a full-time employee, you will be entitled to paid vacations and social insurance.

Salary

Negotiable depending on skill and experience.
