I studied abroad in the U.S. when I was 19 and at the age of 22, I graduated from university and I started flying international flights as a flight attendant based in Hong Kong. After that, I returned to Japan and I started doing interpretation work, and I've been working in the travel industry since then.
With 25 years of experience as a tour conductor, I was in charge of overseas tours. Not only did I take tourists on sightseeing tours, but I was also a liaison between the local people and the tourists. On top of that, I was in charge of a wide range of work, such as interpretation, assisting and providing information for foreigners who come to Japan, assisting students with study abroad programs, homestay programs, and farmstay programs and providing pre-departure English courses, and I taught travel English.
I'm a mother with one daughter. As a way for my daughter to receive bilingual education, I had my daughter study abroad in Australia from when she was 4~5 years old. During that time, I taught Japanese culture in Japanese at a local primary school.
It's important to learn the correct forms of grammar, but it's not easy and you'll go through a rough time if you don't understand it. Let's get a better understanding of cross-cultural communication by improving your communication skills.
