Hello. My name is Paul. I have an international finance background working for Credit Suisse Singapore and along with teaching business English, I have 14 years of such experience. Throughout my life, I was lucky to live in wonderful places such as Osaka, Singapore, Melbourne and Boston, where I made many friends. During my international travels I developed passion for meeting new people, passion for investing and passion for public speaking.  

How do we learn together?

You maybe have spoken dozen times to dozen online teachers about your interests, job or family. Although we do a little of free talk to get to know each other, my core teaching methods are different.

In my lessons, you get 3-in-1 for your precious points. I teach through projects and practice not theory. I have original materials and through the projects that are tailored, you get to enhance your English, you improve your general communication skills plus you learn and research the topics you find interesting. All in a fun and friendly way.

So how does it work in action?

In each of my lesson descriptions I have written out What you are going to learn? Why you want to learn it and How we learn? Having said that, let me paint you a more detailed picture for most of my classes (GMAT prep and Resume writing are different). Generally we will work with my original materials that you will read before our lesson. These are the materials targeted to improve your communication. They are short- 3 pages max.

After you read about the project, you will then prepare at home around five minute speech about the topic you find interesting. In the next lesson you present to me the speech and I will give you my humble evaluation on what to improve and what was done well.

In my lessons, you are getting much more than just an English lesson. You will get more joy and confidence while speaking and organizing your thoughts/knowledge. This will help you in your professional and person life.

In 2021 and beyond, I look forward to having lessons with you, while learning and communicating in a new way.
