- M.S.Ed. "Curriculum and Instruction"
- 120-hour TEFL Certication
- IELTS Certification
- FL state educator examinations: English 6-12
- 日本語能力試験２級 (JLPT N2)
I lived in Japan from 2014-2020, so I have experience teaching Japanese students English, and I have experience learning Japanese while living in Japan.
In my lessons, we will work on all four skills-- reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I have experience teaching using Montessori methods, and I am flexible to suit your learning style. I can use texts, games, and other materials to supplement lessons.
We can do lessons eikaiwa style or in a more personalized tutoring style. There are a few lesson types available, so choose what you like. There are also free chat lessons at a reduced rate for those who just want some relaxing time practicing speaking with a native English speaker.
