Hi. My name is Erika and I’m from the Philippines.  I am a graduate of BS in Business Administration, Major in Marketing. I believe in the saying, “With language, you are at home anywhere”.


I was fascinated in the English language at a very young age of 4 years old.  I remember mumbling words, pretending that I was speaking English even if it didn't make any sense. I self-taught by watching Sesame Street on T.V. and that was how I was able to practice speaking English.


My hobbies are watching suspense, horror and super hero movies, listening to J-Pop, dance and ballad music and travelling.  I’ve travelled to many countries in Asia such as Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, to name a few. I also lived in Japan for 11 years.


I find teaching a timeless career that you can do no matter what age. It provides security since teachers are always required regardless of economic situations. It is rewarding to be able to teach English to others. People whom I taught and trained in the past would still hold high regard for me. Knowing that I can be a key person to their success, whether it be in school or work is the ultimate prestige that I can take with me.


I have been teaching English for 14 years now since I returned to the Philippines from Japan, so you don’t need to feel shy or embarrassed. Learning English with me can be both fun and interesting.
