Nice to meet you! I'm Hikaru, and I'm a Shinobue player! Have you ever heard of the "Shinobue"? In fact, a lot of people don't even know about it! It's a type of Japanese flute made of bamboo. (*^^*) The shinobue is often used for festivals and traditional Japanese musical performances, but recently I've been playing more modern songs with it! Would you like to play your favorite song with a traditional Japanese instrument?(´∀`) You should definitely try playing this wonderful instrument! (*^^*)

In high school I first discovered the Japanese drum and Japanese transverse bamboo flute.

Several years later, I met Japanese transverse bamboo flute teacher Satoru Hiejima and while being a Japanese drum teacher I restarted the flute again.

From 2017 I began performing on the flute as Hikaru, and in the fall of 2018 I performed self-produced live shows and continue to engage in perfomances in the Kansai area.
At the Rippei Japanese transverse flute contest in 2019 I placed 1st.
In 2019 on FM802's RADIO CRAZY2019's go!go!vanillas, I appeared as a drum perfomer personality with Satoko Nii.

Currently I teach the Japanese drum and Japanese inverse bamboo flute to over 100 students.
