Hello, I'm Nozomi.
It has been 5 years since I moved to Europe. I am currently residing in Belgium.
My passion for teaching Japanese started when I attended a Japanese class as a teaching assistant when I was an undergrad. I was stunned by students from all over the world communicating in Japanese and learning Japanese with such an enthusiasm! By seeing this, I thought to myself that it would be awesome to teach Japanese.
I have taught students from 50 different countries while doing my bachelor as a teaching assistant. Then I was certified as a Japanese teacher in 2013 and I carried out some grammar classes during my masters. My internship/teaching training in Australia opened a door to teaching outside Japan ! This is how my career as a Japanese teacher started !
I have taught in an university in France where many of learners knew hardly about 'the real Japan'. We discovered cultural differences and the language together. It was just fascinating ! Now I am in Belgium and Cafetalk allowed me to teach internationally and enables me to meet Japanese learners !!
as you can see here, I really enjoy meeting new people, sharing my culture, learning together and discovering the language.

Bachelor Sociolinguistics (minor : Japanese language education）
Master Language education（Japanese・ESL）
Internship : Japanese teaching assistant（Japan・Australia）total 5 years
2016～2018 taught in Lille catholic university , France （Japanese class）
2018～ a Belgian language school and a cram school（Japanese・English・French）
I've had students from 5 years old to 60 years old.

☆Classes I offer☆
Conversation class （Free conversation in Japanese・フランス語会話）25 mins/lesson
・ we learn grammar and vocabulary you need in a conversation.
・ especially for beginners, we do role plays and other activities so you can master expressions and phrases.
Reading and Speaking (非日本人向け) 50 mins
・we read a text you like and learn grammar and vocabulary
・ we discuss and freely talk about (debates etc) what we read to deepen our understanding.
・ Any text will be acceptable (news, internet articles, textbooks)
Writing and Correction
・No skype needed
・topics are decided according to your level, needs and interests
・your texts will be corrected, given feedback, grammar explanation attached if needed.
Japanese with Japanese culture (advanced level)
・I prepare a topic related to Japanese culture and we discuss
・articles and texts are used as a support to learn about the culture
・This class is not to learn vocabulary but to learn about the culture in Japanese. we do not take a look at grammar(unless needed) and learners focus on expressing their opinions/thoughts in Japanese.
My class can be 100 % Japanese if desired.
For beginners or those who need help of English or French, write me when taking a trial lesson ! ;)
