【English Profile】
Hello, I am LIU. I'm a native Taiwanese born in Taiwan, 1991. Currently, I have been living in Japan for over 3 years now. And I've been able to speak English and Japanese fluently at work. If you speak English or Japanese, I would be able to explain Chinese grammars or phrases to you in that language. With the experience of learning these two languages, I know different expressions in different cultural contexts and the grammatical difference between languages. In which, I am capable of knowing what is difficult for you to understand Chinese from you perspective and be able to solve your problems in learning.
In my college years, I had been an English tutor for over 2 years, teaching students ranging from primary school kids to working adults. Although, it was not an Chinese teaching experience, with that I am capable and experienced in terms of teaching. I also have one-year experience of Chinese-Japanese language exchange. In these experiences, I had been able to guide the students to speak out with the new words and new grammars by creating a friendly and comfortable speaking atmosphere.
The biggest reason for me to teach Chinese is that I like to talk to people from different countries and get to learn about all kinds of culture. So, I would probably learn more than you in the class. I think the purpose of learning languages is to communicate with others or express yourself, other than that it would be less meaningful. Therefore, in my class, there would be a lot of chances to practice speaking. Rather than memorizing painfully, I believe those grammars and phrases could only be yours by outputting the language constantly.
