Hello! Nice to meet you!
My name is Barbara and I am from Vienna, Austria.
Learning and teaching languages has been both a passion and a hobby for me for more than 16 years now. I am curious about different cultures and like City hopping and other forms of travelling when I have the opportunity. I am also interested in food and international cuisine, as well as healthy life style options. I enjoy yoga, swimming and skiing.
I have been living, studying and working in many places abroad for quite some time and I learned a couple of things: the world is amazing and full of good! For the past 9 years I have been enjoying living in Cracow, Poland, a small but truly international city. I have been working as an online German Tutor for almost 6 years now.
Yes, I love teaching and I love German. For example, did you know that you can build your own long German word and play with it like with Lego? How about the suspense while waiting for the verb at the end of the sentence? And those synonyms - how to differentiate them and when to use them? We can discuss all these topics above and more. What I especially love online teaching is the possibility to connect to my international students...YOU!
Because I know a lot about hectic times, some of my sessions are short, they even can be 15 minutes long so they can fit easily into your schedule. If you like to get more indepth, you are welcome to my tailored lessons (30 or 45 minutes), designed only for YOU!
I will be happy to give you a glimpse into my passion - teaching German. You can book a free trial lesson of 15 minutes (suitable for all levels) where we can get to know each other, align teaching and learning style and discuss your goals and options. All my classes offered are adjusted to your level and suitable for beginners, advanced and proficient level!
