Hello everyone,

My name is Froso, I was born in Greece and I am bilingual as I have been learning English since the age of 5. I have been living and working in London for the past fourteen years.


- Education:

I have attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at Middlesex University London and a Master’s Degree in Arts Management and Art Policy, curatorial and educational pathway at Birkbeck University London. In addition, I am certified illustrator with awarded scholarship by the I.E.K. Politistiko vocational training institute of Thessaloniki Greece and I have a certificate in graphic and motion graphic design.

In addition, I hold an IELTS and Cambridge ESOL certification in English language proficiency. 


- Professional experience:

I am a visual artist with a record of exhibitions and projects around the world. In addition, I have contributed in publications in UK, Greece, Taiwan, Argentina, France and Germany.  

Furthermore, I have been working as a project manager and curator, graphic and motion graphic designer and have also been working in managerial positions in the commercial sectors of art institutes.

Along with my professional experience in the above sectors I have also been an art tutor for Topolski Century museum in Southbank London for three years. I have worked with a range of levels and different ages from 18 and above and nationalities. I planned and delivered lessons such as portraiture, life drawing, colour theory and practice, fundamental principles of drawing etc.

In addition, I have also delivered art workshops in UK and have visited Japan twice were I delivered art classes to a nursery in Okinawa and attended an artist residency with a solo exhibition and a public lecture.

Moreover, I have been a visiting lecturer at the National Normal University of Taiwan for their art department for two occasions and also, I have given lectures and artists talks around Europe.

- Lessons introduction and teaching style:

I love teaching and sharing my knowledge and skills with others. It is very rewarding for me to help people achieve the goals and contribute to their success. Through education I believe that people can reach their aspirations and also better their life and the life of others. Therefore, I feel strongly about sharing information, skills and ideas and I am passionate about offering mine to others.

The lessons I am offering here at Cafetalk are language courses and art related courses, ranging from art theory to art practice. I am offering lessons for all levels and in each lesson, I specify the level and knowledge requirements, however, if you find something you are interested in and you are unsure of your level just send me a message and we will take it from there.

I believe that to learn is to understand how certain things work or came about. Therefore, in my classes I focus on the understanding of the subject I am teaching as much as the information I am providing. My lessons are based on dialog and finding ways to make learning easier. Through my experience I learned that every student has a lot of potentials and each one has a different way of learning. For that reason, I have adopted a very flexible way of teaching which is personalised to each student. It is in my best interest to teach the student what they are looking for and I am happy to organise the lessons for each student's needs.

The lessons I am teaching are all subjects that I am personally interested and excited about and I hope to convey the same enthusiasm to my students.
