My name is Annalisa, but friends and family call me Lisa, and you can do it too.
I was born and grew up in Rome, Italy, and currently, I live just outside Rome in the countryside. Since I was little, I have always been passionate about traveling and getting to know foreign cultures. This is the reason why I studied Foreign Languages at the university in my home country. After graduation, I trained to become a professional Italian language teacher and got my teaching certificate in 2010. Since then, I've taught Italian online and in person, meeting people from all over the world, and that made me truly happy.
Recently, I did a training course for English language teachers, and I obtained the CertTesol certificate from Trinity College.
I teach using the communicative method, which has been proven to be the most efficient and successful way of learning foreign languages. That means that by the end of each lesson, you will be able to understand and to speak new functions, and you will have enriched your vocabulary in a specific field.
We practice the language together in conversation and with role-plays. We use texts (audio, written, video) that reflect the language used in real life. I speak clearly and slowly with beginner learners and dedicate a part of the lesson to pronunciation.
I can prepare you for language exams (Cils, Plida, Toefl, IELTS, Cambridge) or create tailor-made lessons based on your needs.
