Hi, I’m Richie and I’m a TEFL certified and experienced English teacher from Luxembourg, Europe with over 3 years of experience. I’ve taught students of all levels and ages from over a hundred countries. I create a personalized learning plan based on your English level, interests, goals and needs. I specialize in business English and conversational English.

I graduated with a degree in Psychology from Southwestern University in the Philippines and I also studied Theology in Norway. I landed my first job as a customer service representative in which I handled American customers via phone.
So, what will happen if you decide to choose me as your English teacher? First, right after you book a trial lesson, I’m going to send you a comprehensive level test and based on your test results you will see exactly where you need to improve and I will be able to tailor your English lessons. Then, during our first lesson I’m going to assess your speaking skills and we’ll discuss the areas which you need to improve. On top of that, we’re going to discuss about your learning goals and needs and we’ll work together to achieve them.
Me as a Teacher :
As a TEFL teacher, my major goal is to boost your confidence so that you will communicate effectively in every situation. I help students enrich their reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening skills in English. Being a teacher is a rewarding job and you can help people change their lives and really make a difference.
On top of that, I’m compassionate, down-to-earth, well-spoken and always striving to be better. I always give my utmost to bring out the best in you. It takes patience, time, compassion and dedicated practice to become a great English speaker. That said, learning can be fun and interesting! I always make sure that ultimately you enjoy what you are learning.
My lessons and Teaching Style:
I have a student-centered teaching style which allows you to make your own choices while you learn in order to make learning English much more meaningful, relevant and effective. Each of my lessons is designed with the individual in mind and tailored to your learning preferences. In my class, I encourage you to speak a lot and express yourself freely. Don’t worry about making mistakes I’m always here to guide and assist you.
A lesson with me will be fun, engaging, interactive, relaxed, stimulating and comfortable. In this way, you can learn English with me without feeling intimidated and pressured. Speak to me as you would to a friend. I’ve found that this is best way to learn and improve.
One last thing is I always give you feedback and make corrections at the end of the lesson. In doing so, it is very helpful for you to see that you’re making progress and you’re on the right track on achieving your goals.
