I have a degree in Computer Science and was a post-graduate Advanced Research Scholar at Queens' College, Cambridge, doing research into Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
I was also a scholarship student at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London (viola, violin, euphonium, piano).
I have 19 years experience as a teacher, senior teacher, teacher trainer, curriculum developer, quality manager and Director of Studies. I teach business and general English and have successfully prepared students for IELTS (general and academic), Cambridge FCE, CAE, CPE and taught English for Special Purposes to doctors, engineers and others.
I love teaching English and can instruct on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, study techniques, writing, academic, business or technical areas.
I have many years experience in business and consultancy, having worked in the City of London for Sumitomo Corp (Japan), for a large American IT Consultancy and for large multi-national British firms. I also have my own business working in software development on the blockchain and crypto-currencies.
I would love to see you in my classes. All levels of abilities welcome.
