Description

In this lesson we will use comedy/drama style scenes (written and performed by me!)
 
Here is the typical structure:
 
  • I send you an audio recording of a scene.
  • I ask you to listen to the recording and see how much you can understand. If you like, you can try transcribing/writing down what you hear.
  • In the lesson, I show you the text and we read it together. I explain new vocabulary, expressions and grammar.
  • If you wrote down the scene before the lesson, I check for corrections. 
  • I check your pronunciation.
  • I will then record new listening/pronunciation exercises for the words/expressions we practised in the lesson.
 
This is very effective for improving listening ability of natural, full speed English!
