Hello, everyone. How are you today? It's Teacher Asuka.

Halloween is coming up. Do you have any plans?

As for me, I'll bake some sweets such as apple pie, pumpkin pie or scones rather than wearing some cloths like witches, expressing my gratitude for this festive season.

It is a time to celebrate good harvest,
summer ending,  pray for the respose of the souls of our ancestors, and hope for staying safe during autumn and winter.

It's also a very important day in real situation as if we celebrate the festival for both New Year's eve, and O-bon which refers to an annual holiday when the spirits of families and ancestors travel back to this world at the same time.

It is said that young people in Japan have seemed to tend to wear some disguise costumes like Frankenstein or so and had a party with friends, visited a theme park at this time of year since the year 2000.
Such scenes have broadcasted by social media and overseas media.

I'm not sure why they do like that even they live in Japan.

They might like to wear some interesting costumes and change, free from stress or just have fun.

Well, Happy Halloween, everyone!

Thank you for joining as always.

See you next time!
