Learn French idioms

Véronique

Like all languages, French is rich in idioms and I love using them !
I have noticed that when I am talking with my children (who speak French but went at school in Italy) or with other people who speak well French but not like a native, they sometime don't understand what I am saying.
They just laugh because what I am saying is funny or has no meaning for them.

According to me, you can say that you are fluent in a language only when you are able to understand the idioms. They are part of the daily conversation and if you don't know many of them, you will probably feel very lonely during conversations.

Learning idioms is very funny. I just created a new lesson in which I will ask you to guess the meaning of some French idioms and then I will explain you their meaning.

The lesson is for people who already have an intermediate or advanced level in French. It may be difficult for beginners.

See you soon and have fun together learning idioms !
