안녕하세요!!
Hello!

My name is Yoko and I have been living in Seoul, Korea since December 2008.
I am currently a freelance translator.
Originally, I was a Korean learner like you.
I think there are many things I can teach you because I am Japanese.



This photo was taken with my teacher at the completion ceremony of Ewha Women's University Language School in Seoul in 2009.
(I'm on the right, facing you ^^)
I was only in the third stage of intermediate level (about 2 months) with this teacher, but I learned a lot about Korean as well as linguistics.
I also learned that language can be learned only by understanding the culture of the country. If I could become such a Korean teacher...
I always teach lessons with that feeling.


I also have experience as a Japanese teacher for Koreans.
At Cafetalk, I offer various lessons by taking advantage of the experience of "teaching words" + the experience of learning Korean.


As a self-proclaimed "foreign language learning enthusiast", what I want to convey through the lessons is...

In charge of Korean-Japanese video translation at a DVD production and sales company in Seoul. Video translation (overall video translation, inspection, etc.) for Japanese broadcasting, commercials such as KBS, SBS, MBC, etc., JTBC, MBS music, etc. Translation inspection business.
* Video translation = Translating the characters such as the sound being spoken and the displayed telop while viewing the video and displaying it as subtitles.

Worked as a freelancer on various document translations.

● When I took a translation correction class at a certain Korean language school in Tokyo, the scenario (Korean to Japanese) translated by me out of all the submitted tasks was adopted as the trial translation and is still being used.
