Ryanライアン 講師的自我介紹
I lived in Japan teaching English full time for four years. I mostly taught at Berlitz but also Aeon. I have taught English to at least 1,500 Japanese students but also to people from places like Saudi Arabia, Korea, China as well as refugees from places like Syria. I have a lifelong interest and education in playing music and cooking. I have professional professional experience in these interests and experience teaching experience in them as well. However, I have mainly taught English. I am teaching English online part time, but my main job is selling real estate which I have been doing since I moved back from Japan 13 years ago.
I think it is very important to make each lesson custom to the student's needs. I have taught many styles and will try to guide each student into a type of study that fits their level, personality, mood and desired topic. There are some things I will do a little bit of in each class such as drill the student to help them understand and remember new grammar or vocab. I know this hard which is why I only do it a little but I have found it to be the best way to help them remember something and be able to use it. No matter what your goals, level or background is, I will make the lesson fit you. If you want to change something, just let me know and I will change.
はじめまして。過去に4年間、大阪と東京でイーオンとベルリッツにて英会話教師をしていたライアン(Ryan)です。日本人だけでなく、サウジアラビア、韓国、中国人等合わせて1,500人以上の方々に英語を教えてきました。 生涯を通じて音楽と料理に興味があり、大学では音楽を専攻し専門的に教えた経験もあります。 大学卒業後はすぐに日本へ移住したため、当時は主に英語を教えていました。13年前に日本からカナダへ戻ってきて以来は不動産売買の仲介業（リアルター）を個人でしながら、英語をオンラインで教えています。
レッスンでは、生徒さんのニーズに合わせてカスタマイズすることがとても重要で、生徒さんのレベル・性格・気分や希望のトピックに導けるように気を付けています。新しい文法と単語を理解し確実に覚えさせるために、毎回のクラスで少しづつ実施していきます。この文法と単語を、”少しづつ・毎回” 実施することでそれらを正しく使えるようになる、と言うことを過去の経験から実感しています。 あなたの目標やレベルや背景が何であれ、レッスンでは生徒さんに合わせるように努力します。 何か私に変えて欲しい事・ご要望や意見があればお気軽にお申し出下さい。
