Isoko Tutor Profile

This tutor is currently on leave.
Hi!
My name is Isoko.  I was born in Japan and live in the United States with my American husband.  I graduated from University of Nebraska at Omaha with English major and linguistics concentration.  After 10 years of working as a translator, I tutor Japanese now, which I sincerely enjoy.  I can teach you Japanese grammar, vocabulary and culture in English.
When I was in college, I taught American high school students Japanese on the phone. I attended my college Japanese class and assisted the instructor.  One day, during the Japanese class I attended, I questioned myself, "why is the methodology of teaching Japanese verb conjugation so different from the one Japanese native speakers learn?"  This question led me to get self-published with my first book "Speak Like Native Speakers Japanese Verb Conjugation I."
My lesson is fun.  I hope you enjoy learning Japanese.
