My name is Lana and my life has always been comprised of languages: in my life I have learned English, German, Latin, Spanish, Swedish, French and Chinese. I hold a BA in theoretical and applied linguistics and a Master's in English and Spanish as foreign languages.
Having worked and lived in 5 countries: Russia, USA, Sweden, China and Spain, I will be more than happy not only discuss cultural differences but also help you prepare you for your move or travel abroad.
I have almost 10 years of experience teaching languages to students of not only different ages and levels, but also of various nationalities for a variety of needs and goals: whether it be conversational, business, general or an exam preparation course.
My classes are highly engaging, practical and tailor-made. Depending on your level and needs, we might concentrate on developing one particular skill or aspect like speaking or writing; or work on all of them; we might use a coursebook or do without it. I personally prefer to combine different approaches and methods.
