Hello! My name is Chloe Rossi. I'm a freelance writer, English tutor, and transcription typist.
I like to travel, and I've been all across the United States, and visited several cities in Japan, including Tokyo, Osaka, Niigata, and Sapporo in my 2-month stay. I have also visited Seoul, South Korea, and currently live in Beijing. I hope to have an opportunity to explore more of our wonderful world soon!
I also love music, and I play bass guitar. Other hobbies include writing and visiting museums.
I would like to think my teaching style is adaptable, and I can always adjust to anyone, so don't be afraid to tell me about your needs as a student! I look forward to working with you to be the best you can be!
I've been an independent language tutor in both college-level English and basic Japanese since 2014. I began teaching English casually, but the more I did it, the more I loved sharing the excitement of language-learning!
I am most familiar with editing college-level essays, and always am happy to explain my corrections. I also currently work with children ages 5-11 to prepare for AEAS and basic grammar.
I have an Associate's Degree in English Education and will receive my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Linguistics in 2019. I am TEFL qualified.
Proofreading and Transcriptions Qualifications:
I have been working as a proofreader in a college setting since 2012, and have yet to see a client that didn't improve.
I have also been typing transcriptions for companies like BIGThink and several legal and medical firms since the beginning of 2017, and was promoted within just two months.
