Hi! This is Rowena Pamesa. You can also call me Wendy.
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education Major in English. This course exposed me to different facets of English subject like reading,
writing, grammar, literature, basic journalism, transcription, translation, editing of text and the list goes on. It is a privelege to make a living at something I really enjoyed doing. It makes me look forward to go to work. And just like what Confucius said "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life."
I prefer to teach BEGINNER, ELEMENTARY TO INTERMEDIATE class since I was trained for that level ( but not limited to these level ) I love teaching because it allows me to impart my knowledge and to be able to touch lives is beyond perfect!
I am living here in the Philippines my entire existence. Filipinos are well known for being hospitable, and that's exactly what I want you to feel in my class -- like we are not living in a different timezone.
I do have teaching experiences in and out of the classroom. I had fun teaching and enjoyed the experience a lot! My students describe me as a fun-loving teacher since I could easily get along with them.
My teaching style depends mainly on the lesson, and also vary depending on the students level. Learning English should not be intimidating and as hard as you think it is, all you need is to see that English class is fun. I know the burdens of learning english as a second language for this is not my native language too. As a language teacher, I am pretty confident that I can contribute to your language acquisition. I use flash cards and visual aid when necessary for beginner to intermediate level to make every lesson fun and comprehensible. For advanced students, the class is usually free talking, I listen carefully so you have more opportunity to talk and practice. I give corrections regardless of the level. I do wrap up/follow up after class for lesson retention.
