はじめまして~
I am Deedee ( ディディ) . I am a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified English teacher with a bachelor’s degree in International Sales and Marketing. I'm from Sweden, but I currently live in the Netherlands, and I have lived in the US and Japan. I speak English and Swedish, and I am currently learning Japanese.
Since a young age I have had interest in Japan, Japanese culture, Japanese history, Japanese pop-culture, Japanese-made products, and Japanese food. I have always been fascinated by Japan and I always find something interesting and fun to learn about. 
(I drew a girl in Kimono when I was young in 2005, and then I got to wear a Kimono in Japan for the first time in my life in 2015. My dream came true after 10 years.)
In addition to my admiration and love to Japan, I am a curious and open-minded person and I love learning about new things. Some of my interests include: science, languages, psychology, philosophy, health, mindfulness, organization, cooking/baking, fashion, nail art, K-pop, anime, Disney, video games, movies, animals, and much more.
Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I am patient and easy to talk to. I am a qualified English teacher and I have the knowledge of the right methods to teach English. I have worked as a private tutor for the last few years and helped many people from different ages to improve their conversational skills in English.
My Lessons & Teaching Style
I encourage my students to focus on speaking and listening. I believe speaking and listening are the best ways to learn a language. It is okay to make mistakes and be nervous. You do not need to know how to express yourself during the conversation for you to be able to learn. Making mistakes is the best way to learn a language. I am here to help and support you!
If you choose English conversational class, we can talk about a topic of your choice if you like. I can type the corrections in the chat box and give suggestions to help your English sound more natural. Do not hesitate to ask me to speak slower or repeat myself. I can help you with pronunciation too. I will answer any questions you have about grammar, phrasal verbs, formal and informal English words, …etc.
We can also practice reading if you have any books or articles that you want us to use during the lesson. Please send me the materials online before the lesson starts if possible. Or maybe you have an upcoming presentation that you would like to practice with me. Please let me know what you would like to do.

- Less than 1hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
- Between 1-6hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
- No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
