Hello everyone!!
I'm Dalton K, an experienced and enthusiastic teacher from Zimbabwe but currently based in Thailand. I have over 15 years of teaching experience ranging from kindergarten to adult learners. I enjoy teaching all levels because teaching is what I do. I am a very friendly, patient and a passionate teacher. I was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe and I come from a big family. I'm looking forward to meeting and teaching you all
My Qualifications
-Graduate Diploma in Development – Ongoing (LSE-London School of Economics)
- Professional Code of Ethics Certification for Teachers (Suan Dusit University- Thailand)
- Teacher Trainer (Programme Leader for the Cambridge International Certificate for Teachers and Trainers)
- 120 hour TEFL certificate (The London Teacher Training College )
- Honors Degree in Economics ( University of Zimbabwe )
My Work History
- I have over 15 years teaching experience in Thailand and Zimbabwe
- I have been an English, Social Studies and Economics teachers over a span of 15 years
- I lived in Thailand for 15 years and taught English to kindergarten, primary, elementary, junior high, high school students and adults
- I have taught online English lessons for around two years
- I have been a teacher trainer since 2010 and have trained lots of teachers who are currently teaching ESL around the world.
My interests and hobbies
My hobbies are listening to music, cooking, reading and running. My dream is to go around the world one day and experience all the different cultures the world has to offer. Recently I started learning a new a new skill, Computer Programming as I like to keep myself busy.
My Teaching Style
I want my students to feel relaxed and comfortable, it's easier to learn. My lessons are interactive, relaxed and they have to be fun always. I come to class well prepared all the time and I enjoy doing research for my lessons. I always want to do my best to prepare a fun class for my students and help you to achieve your English goals
