Hello there! My name is Jérôme and I'm a native English speaker from Switzerland. My mother is Irish, so do not be confused by the French first name (with fancy accents), and my origin from a non-English speaking country. I am a Professional English teacher (CELTA certified), working currently in an English language school in Russia. Before moving to Russia, I obtained a Bachelor degree in History from an American University (in Madrid, Spain). There, I discovered a deep passion for languages, both teaching and learning them. I worked part time as a volunteer English teacher for the local Spaniards and had fantastic moments with them, filled with laughter and incredible personal, cultural exchanges. These wonderful memories have now inspired me to teach you, students from across the globe, and share more great experiences learning English together. My methodology is simple but effective: a broad adapation to the Student's language needs. In simple words, I am a very flexible teacher. if the student desires to master his pronunciation, then we will practice again and again, to work on the movements of the tongue, the mouth, the teeth, all to get the best result in mastering the pronunciation of the difficult sounds of the English language. This same strategy will be apllied to master any aspects of grammar, speaking fluency, vocabulary, whatever your heart desires. I have myself been a student of many languages ( I have learnt Spanish, Italian, a bit of Japanese, and currently Russian), so I have great empathy for my students, can easily put myself in their shoes, and will do my utmost best to adapt to their needs and learning styles. Hoping to meet you soon, and not only learn English together, but to share beautiful memories of laughter, healthy frustration and success together as well.
