My name is Sofia. I was born in Greece, I am a bilingual of French and Greek language. My passion and my talent is to learn and teach foreign languages. I have traveled and taught English, french and Greek in several countries. I have experience on teaching students from different age, culture and language background. On the time being, I am staying in Portugal with my husband and our son, even our home and family is polyglot! We speak Greek, Portuguese, English and French on a daily basis!
 
I am a certified -University degree- French professor (French Language and Literature). I am an English teacher, certified with Proficiency of Michigan. Having provided language lessons in several countries (France, Cambodia, Kenya, Morocco and Greece). I have provided Greek lessons in french speakers in France. I have worked on translations from French to Greek. My lessons are ideal to prepare for language exams, to practice the language on the speaking and writing, to prepare the student for a real life adaptation (for studies or work) on the French or Greek language environment.
 
The first and most important step is to clarify the goals and to keep the motivation strong! I love to combine the academic part with the in-vivo learning material so to make our lessons interesting. Music, films and advanced interaction material is my favorite way to inspire the learning or perfecting of a language.
 
I follow a communicative approach, working on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation through dialogues and documentation. Practicing reading, writing, speaking and listening in every lesson.
