Hi my names Samara Scott, Im 30 years old and from New Zealand. I studied fashion design and currently living in Chile learning Spanish and travelling South America in my free time.
My mother spent one year living in Tokyo, Japan after university teaching English which taught me that teaching English was a great way to travel.
Since my mums experience of living in Japan she always held a very special bond with Japan and always encourage us to eat Japanese cusine and growing up we had 3 Japanese exchange students living with us who taught us how to make origami and some basic Japanese phrases.
I have been working as an English teacher for almost 2 years and have work with multiple ages and subjects.
I have taught business English, intenses grammar, TOEFL and IELTS exams, conversation, one-on-one, group classes, classroom settings, online classes, adults, tennagers, children, students from China, Russia, Chile and other Latin American countires, I give homework and always change my methods to meet the students needs.
I like to talk about topics of interest relatable to the student to get them thinking and speaking with confidence.
I really hope to work with you and help you grow with the English language and help you meet your goals and needs.
