Hello! My name is Hailie. I am from the midwestern United States. I graduated from Capital University with a B.A. in History and Music, and I also have a 120-hour TEFL certificate.
     
      I have been teaching English online for almost two years now, and additionally I am a freelance actor and musical theatre/opera/classical singer. In my free time, I enjoy studying the Russian language, traveling, karate, speed skating, dancing, watching TV/films, and reading books. I have been fortunate enough to perform internationally in Mexico, and in the next two summers I will perform in Italy and the Netherlands.

      My teaching style is very calm and relaxed, and I mainly focus on conversation practice and vocabulary building. I especially like to use classic literature and media to help students learn new words and gain a deeper understanding of Western culture. I am looking forward to meeting new people and helping students learn English!
