From beginners to intermediates, and advanced level students, my lessons are recommended for students who want to learn English for their everyday life or sightseeing, by focusing on pronunciation and momentary English composition. I welcome students who want to speak in English, want to hold conversations in English, and of course, students who want detailed information about the English language explained to them in English or Japanese!
 
Let's have a fun lesson by using a well balanced output and input learning style! My strength is in assisting my students improve their conversational skills!
 
 120h TEFL: Qualification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language
(TEFL is a qualification to teach English to non-English speakers in non-English speaking countries.)
 
We will start our lesson with a brief chat, then introduce ourselves and catch up on what is going on today! After that, I focus on tasks that each student wants to learn, or I will recommend a variety of tasks to them! For more information, please visit the individual lesson pages.

Understanding clearly during our lessons are a very important aspect of learning.  We will spend the last five minutes of each lesson reviewing!!
 
 
Hello. I’m Ayumi. Have you ever felt that it would be nice to be able to speak English after coming back from a trip abroad, or when you are asked a question in English at a store or on the street? 
Just being able to speak a little English makes traveling a lot more fun!
 
Still, I understand that a lot of you might think that learning English is hard, since I used to think like this as well.
However, the most important thing is to “start” learning. The second is to "continue” learning. So, how do we do this?
 
I started learning English as an adult, and ever since then I’ve been studying English whenever I can find the time. I’ve enjoyed experimentomg with various studying methods. I used to teach English phonics at a language school for primary school children by using games to have fun whilst learning English. After that, I went to Australia for a working holiday. I was angst during this trip…You can ask me about this story furthermore in English during our lesson!
 
As a side note, “phonics” is a method that makes learning English pronunciation and reading much easier. When British children enter primary school, they are first taught to read and write by using phonics. Once you know this, your pronunciation will improve immensely.
 
I have lived in the UK for 18 years, so feel free to ask me questions in English about many things including British culture!
 
With these experiences, I believe that I can help you improve your English skills whilst having fun!
