Hello, I am Denise from South Africa. I am TEFL certified, a native English speaking tutor, with over 30-years of business experience having worked in IT, Marketing, Finance.

I  have over 1600 hours teaching online and 5 years teaching face to face.

My teaching style
  • You do most of the talking.
  • I encourage Active Learning.
  • Let's talk about what you want to talk about.
  • My approach is largely conversational,
  • Mistakes are ok! They are all part of the learning process.
  • I use a variety of resources (Videos, Podcasts, Games, Quizzes) making lessons interesting.
  • I love seeing my students gain confidence in their speaking ability.
If you keep a regular schedule, practise for 15 minutes each day you will make progress.
