My name is Claudia and I am an English teacher from Romania. I currently live and work in the beautiful and exciting country of Cambodia. Before moving here, I lived and worked in China for the last two years, and before that, in France for roughly two other years!
I hold a major in Psychology as well as a passion for working with and for people. Along with my teaching career, I actively pursue research projects in Psychology. Some of my focus in research is aimed at human nature, education and early childhood development.
PS: these are topics I am ALWAYS open to talk about!
Therefore, I have slowly grown into this kind of English teacher who loves hearing people’s stories, answering their needs and guiding them through their learning process, as well as sharing my experience and know-how with anyone willing to improve! I believe this to be a recipe for bettering ourselves together!
My teaching experience over the last 4 years:
* In-class and online
* Youngest student: 33 months old, oldest student: my 91-year-old grandma - Never stop learning!
* Students from: France, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Germany, Finland, Canada, Spain, Mexico, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia
* Covered topics from: basic conversational skills to more in-depth business/professional English as well as prep-work for language tests and examinations.
Bilingual education (English is my second language)
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
Some of my other interests include: drawing, swimming, bike-riding, diving, crafting, having fun, dancing, inviting people to open up and think deeper about everything, talking about almost anything, listening to all kinds of stories, learning about traditions across the world…. Oh! I could go on and on!
If you are looking for an easy-going, open, fun yet experienced, professional tutor, you have come to the right place.
I will listen to all suggestions and feedback, and do my best to personalize your learning experience so that you get to meet those goals you aim for!
Looking forward to meeting you!
