Typical Lesson Flow

    Student makes a lesson request according to your available times. (All times are displayed for you in your local time)

    *Please note: Tutors are required to conduct lessons on a PC or tablet. Providing lessons via smartphones is not permitted for tutors.

  5. Receive your Payment

    Click a button to request payment or make requests automatically.
    Minimum payout of 3,000JPY applies.

    Payment made to your local bank account via Payoneer, or by Paypal every month.

    At this time, we unfortunately aren’t able to pay tutors residing in Russia, Iran or Afghanistan using the payment methods available to us. We regret to inform tutors residing in these countries that we cannot accept applications at this time. We will update this information as circumstances change.

Who takes Abacus lessons on Cafetalk?

Most of the students who take online Abacus lessons are elementary school children located in various parts of Japan. There is also a minority of bilingual students with Japanese parents who are living abroad.
