Business Negotiation English from a Professional Negotiator

Professional negotiation is not easy to do, especially when you're not using your first language. This is a 50 minute class on how to negotiate professionally in English. I am an English teacher but also a professional negotiator in my regular job and many years of experience at both.
In addition to having to know your product or services you are offering, and knowing, the product and services the other side is offering you have to be able to figure out:
A) What they want
B) What they need
C) What they are willing to accept
D) The details of any agreement and how to make sure everyone understands them clearly
E) How to get them to change their mind so that you can make a better deal for yourself or your company.
Language skills are just the beginning here. You have to be able to think like the person you are negotiating with. So, if you are dealing with people from a different culture, you need to figure out how that culture negotiates.
I will help you with the cultural details in addition to helping your English. I will take the time to listen to you explain what you need and want so you can get the best custom lesson possible.
After teaching English in Japan full time for four years I became a Realtor in Canada for 13 years. That is still my main job. I negotiate almost every day with Westerners mostly but also people from other countries like Japan, China, India and many more. Knowing the culture's way of thinking and negotiating helps you get a positive result. Negotiating is about more than just language skills.
This lesson is a customized lesson that will help you do all this with more ease and confidence. The language level, the type of negotiation, the method of communication for negotiation and more are all custom designed to your needs.
