I felt Beth is easy to talk to, appreciate she gave me a starting point to work on. 穏やかで話しやすい先生です。体験セッションだったので、自己紹介をして、次回に向けての宿題をもらいました。動き出すための糸口を貰えて良かったです。

Mieko-sensei is so easy to speak with. She knows how to keep the conversation flowing and only helps my Japanese when I completely stuck. I like how she lets me talk and then repeats what I have said, but in the correct manner. I really enjoyed speaking with her.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you, Teacher Sets, I have passed N3 and even N2 by taking your free talking lessons only. You have been so helpful to my Japanese study. Furthermore, my son's english has been improved so much through your english lessons as well. Happy New Year and thank you once more.

とても楽しい会話をしました。ありがとうございました!
I had a 30-minute chat with Sets先生. She corrected my grammar mistakes and taught me new vocabulary. She's a really nice and patient person, so I didn't feel nervous talking to her at all. Because she spoke English as well, I was able to explain what I wanted to say in English when I couldn't do it in Japanese. I recommend Sets先生 for anyone looking to practice speaking Japanese :) -

Thanks for helping me prepare for my interview. It's getting closer and closer every day, but I'm confident I'll do well on the Japanese portion. You've really helped me improve my Japanese over the last month! Thanks so much!

Thanks for explaining how prefectures are named (i.e. to, fu, do, and ken). This was an interesting little bit of information that I didn't have before and now I do! I like that I learn language and a bit of culture in our classes. Thanks!

I really enjoyed learning a few Japanese sayings (ことわざ)in class today! Although I liked my translation of "ちりもつもれれば やまとなる" a little better ;) I also enjoyed talking about ways to stop procrastinating. I hope to be like you and improve these habits using determination. I never imagined I would be able to have these kinds of discussions in Japanese. Thank you so much!

Thanks for today! I enjoyed our conversation about free wine and passengers getting drunk on the plane! And I was really confused when you said "少なくなってきています", but as always you patiently explained every syllable (all 11 of them)!! I'm looking forward to tomorrow's class!

I used to dread speaking practice, but classes with you are so enjoyable that I actually look forward to it. Thanks so much!

I never know where our conversations are going to take us, but the result is always the same: More great vocabulary and good practice making grammatically correct sentences.

Thanks for a good class today! I will definitely take your advice about calling the places before I make reservations. See you next time!

You are infinitely patient! Thanks for giving me the space to work out my sentences in my head before I say them. I definitely am getting more ambitious with my sentences and I've tried not to just fallback to English when I need to make a complicated point. Thanks for supporting me while I do that!

You organized class well today and I thought it was great! First we talked about my visiting relatives and then we got down to fine-tuning my self-introduction. Thank you for all of your help!

David has lived in Nara, Hokkaido, and Okinawa and knows a lot about Japan. Maybe more than the average Japanese people. So talking about Japan with him was so fun. His meditation class was relaxing, insightful, and easy to follow for a beginner like me. I wanna practice what I’ve learned for a while, and make it a habit to meditate. I recommend taking his lesson for learning meditation, English, and having a fun chat about Japanese cultures(^_^*)
