Beautiful gardens, right on our doorstep! :-)

Jun 23, 2018 | 2 Comments

Yesterday we decided to take a short break from work to enjoy our local area.
Having explored the majority of Nara city (or so we thought!) already, we wanted to do something local, but not expensive and not too time consuming.

We found two beautiful gardens which were only a short walk from where we are living, and had a great time exploring in the sun!

From garden, to Mt.Wakakusa for a picnic, back to another garden, to the lake to sit and relax.

The weather was stunning yesterday!
Extremely hot and humid, but the sun certainly makes everything look better :-)

We came back home after 2.5 hours to continue teaching, and felt thoroughly refreshed.

Today is a totally different story!
I actually booked the middle of the day off to train with a friend, but due to the terrible weather today (non stop rain!) I have decided to focus on my work.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

Stay in touch and take care.
