Hello Cafetalk Community!
How are you? I hope you're doing well. One of the fastest ways to improve your English is to develop and strengthen your vocabulary. To varying degrees, most students want to be able to speak English fluently. There's no wonder the English words don't roll off the tip of your tongue if it's not originally in your mind, to begin with, right?
Most of us, often fall into using the same limited vocabulary words over and over again even though there are so many ways to say the same thing.
For example, there are many ways to say: "Good"
excellent
wonderful
marvelous
fantastic
outstanding
splendid
amazing
pleasant
exceptional
super
terrific
stupendous
"Good" is just one word. Can you imagine how many synonyms you can find for each English word? It's fun to look up synonyms in a thesaurus to find other ways to replace the word(s) you usually use.
