マレーシア・ペナン在住の英語・日本語講師のKeiko Davyです。ペナンはまだ中華正月のお祝いムードがただよってます。今日はそんな中、ニョニャ料理のレストランに行ってきました。というのは、主人が職場にクエイと呼ばれるデザートを持っていきたいということで、注文してたんですね。中華正月のお祝いで一段と華やかな色のクエイでした！（家が注文してたのは左下の写真です。RM38＝1045円、安いですね！）

Hi I am Keiko Davy, an English/Japanese tutor living in Penang, Malaysia. Penang is still in the middle of Chinese New Year celebration. Today I went to a Nyonya restaurant to pick up a plate of kuih, bite sized dessert food, for my husband. He wanted to take it to work to share with his co-workers. Today's kuihs were more colourful and beautiful! (Ours was the left bottom one. RM38 = 1045 yen, so cheap!)
