Have you heard of "Keigo Higashino?"

2017年12月16日

Dear Cafetalk Community!

I hope you're doing well! Today, I wanted to introduce you to a Japanese mystery novelist named Keigo Higashino. He is a well-known author in Japan and his books have been turned into TV Shows! I especially like the Detective Galileo's series. I highly recommend this author if you like mysteries. Mr. Higashishino is prolific and adept at keeping you interested on the edge of your seat, and he is especially intriguing if you like stories surrounding Japanese locations and culture.

I liked the book above called "The Devotion of Suspect X: A Detective Galileo Series" and I also liked the book below called "The Midsummer's Equation." They were both entertaining reads and Mr. Higashino's captures the heart, sentiment, and motive of a plot uniquely set among the Japanese people and culture.

The reason why I'm sharing a book(s) with you is that I think it's a great way to study English. If you read the books out loud, it's good experience and practice to study your pronunciation. However, I especially like pre-recorded "Audio Books!" It keeps my hands free while I do chores around the house as I listen to the story. I recommend Audio Books if you like kicking back and like someone else reading a book for you. In addition, I speak from experience that actors who are hired to read these books are very good performers and can do various voices and accents.

I would like to talk with you more about Mr. Keigo Higashino if you're also a fan. Please see if I may be a suitable English tutor for you by visiting my Profile on Cafetalk! Thank you!
