Some of you may have read about Hurricaine which hit Ireland and some parts of the U.K. earlier in the week.
This was the biggest storm in over 30 years!
I was on vacation near the coast in Ireland when I got wind of the news that a hurricaine was on the way.
The calm before the storm
We bit the bullet and decided to head back to Scotland where the storm wasn't expected to be so bad.
The storm hit Scotland that night and as luck would have it my local area was the area of Scotland that lost all power and electricity for 2 days!
Here is a picture of the local scout club. The roof was blown away in the storm!
Many trees fell down due to the wind, however it was rectified very quickly by the emergency teams and everything is back to normal now!
I am sincerely sorry to all students who's lessons I had to cancel earlier in the week due to having no electricity and power. I hope to see you all in a lesson again soon! :)
