Write and Review

Jan 11, 2014

Like all other parts of language, writing is a unique skill.  It takes much practice to become a good writer.  Here is what a writer named Brian Clark has to say about writing.

“10 Steps to Becoming a Better Writer

Write.
Write more.
Write even more.
Write even more than that.
Write when you don’t want to.
Write when you do.
Write when you have something to say.
Write when you don’t.
Write every day.
Keep writing.”

While you work to improve your speaking ability, why not work to improve your writing ability.  In order to help think in a language and practice vocabulary, writing is a good way to improve those skills.

You do not have to just focus on speaking.  It is good to practice other skills too.  That's why you need to practice your writing.

Of coarse, practicing writing is very good.  But maybe you want some feedback and guidance.  I have a lesson that is good for that.  It is called 英作文と会話 where you can write and I will help you improve your writing.  You will write about a topic you enjoy.  Then together we can correct your mistakes and discuss the topic.  This lesson will not only help you improve your writing, but your speaking too.  By improving these two skills you will become so much better with the langauge.  I look forward to helping you improve your writing.
