Basics of English Speaking -1

Sep 19, 2016

I want to discuss about the most asking question from my students today. If you are a beginner, you may confused where to begin.Or, you can't show what you know about English during your speaking.

Of course, English contains 3 basics. Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation. We can extend this, but mainly you need to control those to improve your English ability.

Ok, you will use the essential needs of English but how to start speaking? Let me explain to you in 5 subjects. Today, i will consider the first topic for you.

1. Do not study English too much:

If you want to pass examinations, then study grammar. However, if you want to become fluent in English, then you should try to learn English without studying the grammar.

Studying grammar will only slow you down and confuse you (even bore you from English).

I can confidently say this with experience. I am a native English speaker, majored in English education based, and have been teaching English for more than 4 years. However, many of my students know more details about English grammar than I do.

You need to decide this first: Do you want to be able to recite the definition of a causative verb, or do you want to be able to speak English fluently?

This was the first phase of my lecture. I will keep writing here for the further steps.

If you want to practice your English, I am willing to help you during my English classes. Please feel free to ask my help anytime. I look forward to meeting you soon.

I wish you best luck on your study.
