Today, I would like to introduce three manga that I usually read and recommend to all of you who are learning Japanese. You can travel around Japan through manga:)

イギリス人の女性・イザベラバード（実在の人物：じつざいのじんぶつ）が日本の生活を記録に残した物語。日本の昔の文化はもちろん、旅ならではの 出会いが たくさんあり、驚きの連続。好奇心旺盛な彼女と、彼女と 真逆の性格を持つ 通訳の伊藤。二人のやりとりも 面白いです。
ふりがなは ほとんどありません。バイリンガル版が１巻、出ています。１巻はバイリンガル版で、２巻からは日本語版で読むのがおすすめ。
This is the story of an English woman, Isabella Bird (real person), who recorded her life in Japan. She is full of surprises, not to mention the old Japanese culture, and the many encounters unique to her travels. The curious woman and her interpreter Ito, who is the complete opposite of her, have an interesting exchange.
There is almost no furigana in the book. The first volume is available in a bilingual edition.

＊１〜３巻。
おひとりさま＝Solo-trip
設計会社に 勤める 主人公。ホテルで 過ごす Solo tripの時間を とても 大切にしている お話。ここに 出てくるホテルは すべて 実在のホテル。漫画の 最後には 場所と特徴が まとめられていて、絶対 行きたくなります。
人の名前などは ふりがながあるので 中級後半レベルの人は 読みやすいかもしれません。
日本に旅行する際 ホテルを 選ぶ時の参考に してくださいね。
The main character works for a design company. The story is about the time she spends at a hotel on a solo trip, which she treasures very much. The hotels in this story are all real hotels. At the end of the manga, the locations and features are summarized, so you will definitely want to go there.
The names of the people in the book have furigana, so it may be easy to read for those who are in the late intermediate level.
Please use it as a reference when choosing a hotel for your trip to Japan.
❸「きのう何食べた？」講談社 Byよしなが ふみ：中級レベル
＊１〜22巻。
弁護士と美容師の ゲイカップル。二人の 食生活をめぐる物語。
この弁護士が とても几帳面で 節約家（せつやくか）。日常の 家庭的なご飯が 取り上げられているので 私も 夜ご飯の 参考にして ときどき 作ります。今では ドラマ化、レシピ本も 販売。英語版・韓国語版も 出ているそうです。食材の名前が よく出てきます。中級でも難しく感じるかもしれません。慣れてくると 面白いと思います。日本の料理を 作ってみたい人は ぜひ参考にしてくださいね。
A lawyer and a hairstylist are a gay couple. This is a story about their eating habits.
The lawyer is a very meticulous and frugal person. The story features everyday family-style meals, which I sometimes use as a reference for my own dinner. Nowadays, it has been dramatized and a recipe book is on sale. English and Korean versions are also available. The names of ingredients are often mentioned. Even intermediate level students may find it difficult. But once you get used to it, you will find it interesting. If you want to learn how to cook Japanese food, please refer to this book.
