Hello Cafetalk Community!

How are you doing this Golden Week? I know you are not in lockdown, but the government has strongly urged and requested that everyone stay home for a while longer. I'm sure you are all experiencing the good and the bad aspects of having to stay at home all of the time.

[Positives about staying at home for an extended period of time:]

1.) It's a great time to pick up a hobby or learn something new.
2.) It's a terrific time to practice your skills if you already have a hobby.
3.) It's a perfect time to spend quality time with your family!
4.) Sometimes it's important to give yourself a break.
5.) Give yourself permission to find some pleasure.
6.) Prepare meals with fresh ingredients and try new recipes!

Most importantly, take as much precaution as possible to protect yourself from COVID-19.
* social distancing (6 ft or 2 meters apart)
* wash your hands often with soap
* stay hydrated
* eat a healthy diet
* get a lot of sleep (to build up your immunity)
*wear a facial mask
*don't touch your eyes, nose, or mouth

[Do you feel comfortable and relaxed while learning and speaking English?]

I believe one of the most important factors of online learning is that the student feels comfortable and relaxed with their tutor. I think if you are stressed out or anxious, it can become a barrier to learning the new language you are attempting to master.

In my case, I can relate to people immediately and meet them at their level of English proficiency. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced, I am able to not only adjust to your level but also provide what the next most beneficial course of action may be -- whether you are a child or an adult.

I like listening to stories from different cultures and experiences! I think you will find me to be a caring, relaxed, and flexible teacher. I like to use the term "student-centered" to express my teaching style. During the lesson, you might even forget about the fact that you're in an "English lesson."

I have a variety of lessons that you might be interested in. So, why not get comfortable and get ready to have a relaxed, refreshing, and fun time during a lesson? Of course, I try to provide my complete and total attention to every student I meet. I believe you will be able to speak English freely and express yourself without getting stressed out or anxious. It is my belief that I can provide the optimum atmosphere to learn a new language.

It would be really nice to meet you! Why not spend your free time at home taking English lessons during Golden Week? I think it would be a worthwhile way to spend your free time.

Have a wonderful Golden Week vacation! I wish each and every one of you all the best, good health, and prosperity! If you have ever taken my lesson, I am very grateful and it was an honor and a pleasure to meet you! I hope to see you soon!

Please take good care of yourself!

Warmest regards,

Lady Ayame
