This beautiful stretch of beach on Taketomijima was totally secluded and private.

The water was crystal clear, the sky was blue, the weather was dream like - and best of all? 
The perfectly pure white sand was full of little star shaped shells!

This place is like something out of my wildest dreams.

It is no wonder that the people in this area of Japan live longer than anyone else on the planet. 

They are so relaxed and surrounded by the most incredible natural landscapes.

I think we have found our new yearly holiday destination........
