What a wonderful gift!

Oct 1, 2018

One of my lovely Yoga and Tai Chi students here in Hokkaido gave us a wonderful gift yesterday!

Bags of FRESH mikan and umeboshi!

She heard that I loved these foods, and asked a friend of hers who is a mikan farmer from Wakayama prefecture to send her some.

What a kind and thoughtful gift.

The mikan are so fresh and delicious, and the umeboshi are better than anything I have ever tasted from a shop! In fact - these are as good as the BEST umeboshi I ever tasted, which again were another gift from the head monk of Shoganji Zen temple in Oita, Kyushu.

Happy times!
